Odd Socks

The project is gaining interest and momentum with involvement from diverse groups including Townsville Soroptomists who will be taking odd socks to the Townsville Correctional Centre for women.

Looking for odd socks and fun people to turn them into puppets

They will be showing the women how to turn odd socks into puppets. Others involved include the William Ross High School Junior Textile Class, schools in Ingham and surrounds, Townsville Women's Centre and families at Stockland Shopping Centre.
