RETOLD is a selection of 2 and 3D works made from old books, found objects and recycled media. Book pages and illustrations are reconfigured to retell a story, signifying the end of their use as part of a book and marking
their new beginning as an art object. A social commentary on throw away culture and an era where you can fill a bag with books for $5 and the answer for too much stuff is up cycling and making recycled art pieces.
