More About Sonia

Sonia is a multi-disciplinary artist who works with a variety of media including discarded objects, watercolour, graphite, charcoal, paint, ink, and paper pulp.
Producing both 2D and 3D work the artist’s diverse practice includes drawing, sculpture, assemblage, installation and digital techniques. 
Her experiences and accomplishments include, curating a bra themed group show, producing a body of work for three distinct solo exhibitions, acting as a RADF committee member, initiating planning and managing three creative projects and successfully writing the associated grant applications for two not for profit organizations. 
Observations and experiences of everyday family life and the broader human condition continue to inspire and influence her work.
